Training Package

As part of the Environment Jobs Scotland project, Forward Scotland worked with Careers Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to develop a training package. 

The training package is intended to provide a flexible learning tool for public agencies and other stakeholders such as local training providers and employers.  It is expected that once the training has been delivered users will be able to:

• Advise job seekers on career or training opportunities within the environmental sector
• Confidently promote the benefits of to employers and employees
• Promote the sector as a viable career option
• Advise on the potential of the sector and the wide range of opportunities
• Assist in raising awareness of employment opportunities within the environmental sector
